The Water that I Will Give

Have you ever tried to quench your thirst with something that just didn’t satisfy—like reaching for soda when what you really needed was water? That’s a picture of what many of us experience in life. We chase after things—success, approval, comfort—hoping they’ll satisfy a deeper need, only to feel empty again.
In John 4:13–14, Jesus says to the woman at the well, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Jesus offers something radically different: a lasting satisfaction that fills our hearts and overflows into every part of life. This “living water” isn’t found in things or achievements—it’s found in Him. And when we drink deeply of who He is—through His Word, worship, prayer, and community—we find a well of life that never runs dry.

This song is a joyful reminder that God's mercy is like holy water—cleansing, refreshing, and life-giving. It’s a great way to start or end your day with your family centered on God's grace.
