About Faith Family Weekly
Faith Family Weekly exists to help busy families grow closer to Jesus together. Every week we send a free guide filled with Scripture, worship, family conversation questions, and practical encouragement that helps parents lead their homes spiritually, in about 20–30 minutes throughout the week.

Joon Tavarez
Joon Tavarez is a pastor, Bible teacher, and founder of Faith Family Weekly, a ministry dedicated to helping families grow closer to Jesus through practical, Scripture-centered resources. Serving on staff at Radiant Church in the Tampa Bay area, Joon is also a content partner with the YouVersion Bible App, where he has written numerous Bible Plans that have encouraged hundreds of thousands of readers around the world.
He is passionate about equipping parents, strengthening marriages, and making biblical truth accessible for everyday life. Joon holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership from Lee University and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Elizabeth, are raising five children and are committed to helping families build lasting faith for generations to come. His weekly newsletter serves more than 26,000 subscribers and continues to grow everyday.
