Happy Family Guide Sunday!

Here's a new Family Guide for the Third Week of December 2024. Hear the Worship song and read the Bible verse everyday. You will also see a discussion question for every day this week along with a family prayer.

  • Worship:

Passion - O Come All Ye Faithful (His Name Shall Be) ft. Melodie Malone

Available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music & Amazon Music

  • Scripture:

Luke 2:11-15

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Use one of these questions each day to help spark family conversation:

  1. Why do you think God chose to tell the shepherds about Jesus’ birth?

  2. How do you think the shepherds felt after seeing the angels?

  3. What does this verse teach us about responding to God’s message?

  4. Why was it important for the shepherds to go and see?

  5. How can we, like the shepherds, share this message?

  6. What does this story tell us about God’s heart for all people?

  7. What are some ways our family can “go and see” or draw closer to Jesus?

  • Prayer

"Today we lift our hearts in adoration for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We are humbled by the incredible blessing of being part of Your family and filled with joy because of Your love and grace. Thank You for this precious gift, which we do not take for granted. May our lives be a reflection of our gratitude and praise to You, now and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We're here if you have any questions. You have just joined a group of families that have decided to get serious about leading their families.
