Grace That Saves: A Family Reflection on God’s Gift

Have you ever received a gift so meaningful that it left you speechless? That’s what God’s grace is like, undeserved, unearned, and life-changing. It’s not something we can work for or achieve. It’s something we simply receive through faith.

Ephesians 2:8–9 reminds us of this powerful truth:“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

God’s grace is the heart of the gospel. It’s what makes our faith so different, salvation isn’t about being “good enough.” It’s about trusting in the One who is good and loving and powerful to save. As a family, this truth brings rest to our souls and teaches us to walk in humility and gratitude.

A beautiful way to reflect on this is by listening to "Grace To Grace" by Hillsong Worship. This powerful song draws our hearts to the cross, where grace was fully displayed. It invites us to remember that through Christ’s sacrifice, we are made new, not by our works, but by His.

Let this week be one where your family remembers and celebrates grace. Talk about it, sing about it, thank God for it, because His grace changes everything.
