Praise the Name of the Lord
There are moments in life when our hearts feel overwhelmed, by responsibilities, worries, or simply the pace of everyday life. In those moments, worship becomes more than just music or singing. It becomes a way of lifting our eyes above the noise and remembering who God is.
Psalm 148:13 reminds us, “Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven.”
This verse calls every believer, every home, every family, every generation, to lift God high. His name is above every circumstance, above every challenge, above every hope we carry.
One song that captures the beauty of this truth is “Bless God” by Brooke Ligertwood. It is a powerful reminder that God deserves our praise not just in church but in every moment of our lives. Worship helps align our hearts with Heaven and invites God’s presence into our homes.
Why Worship Matters
Worship is more than singing—it’s our response to who God is.When we praise the name of the Lord, we declare that He is greater than everything happening around us. His name is exalted, meaning it stands higher than our worries, our schedules, and our struggles.
When a family chooses to worship together, something shifts in the atmosphere. Hearts become softer. Joy grows stronger. Peace becomes more real. Praising God brings perspective, it reminds us that His majesty is above earth and heaven, and nothing is beyond His reach.
